I have an egg that has been pipped for several hours.. it started to zip and now there has been no movement for hours.... should I assist? Is it dead? What do I do?

It can take up to 24 hours from pip to hatch. You don't want to endanger the rest of your hatch by opening the bator and making the temp and humidity wonky so just sit on your hands for now. If later on you really think you need to intervene (there are risks if you try to help--it doesn't always turn out well) take the bator into a bathroom with the heat cranked up and the shower blasting hot water to help minimize temp and humidity loss.
