Help! Egg yolk not fully absorbed and starting to bleed!

My little duckling just tried to get out of the shell and you can still see the yolk. It's not that large but when it started moving around it started to bleed. What should I do if anything?? I know I should leave it in the bator to absorb the yolk but what do I do about the bleeding?

if the chick is still in shell I put a sock over the chick and egg on bottom 1/2 so it cannot get out of the egg yet.

Thanks! It came out of the shell and the bleeding stopped. And then I could get a good look at it. It's navel area is swollen. I think it has mushy chick disease so I put betadine on it and stuck it back in the bator. There is no open area as far as I can tell and the swelling looks like in has went down some in the past few hours. Is there any chance it might make it?? Do any chicks live with mushy chick disease?

they can, I stop up the bleeding with a bit of flour.

No worries. This one is more specific. You will need to keep it clean and apply some form of antibiotic spray or cream. I used Terramycin spray and saved my chick.

Thanks. With proper care how long could it take this to heal (assuming the duckling makes it)?+

Mine took about 10 days to come good. I gave it gave it poly-aid plus with probiotics and scrambled egg.
