My son is hatching eggs for his science fair project, first time hatching. He put 6 eggs in, then 12 more about 24-30 hours later. We are headed into lockdown tomorrow for the first batch. I do not have another incubator, so moving them is not an option. Can eggs go into lockdown a day early?

I (pretty much always) do the same thing. I can't help but pop a few extras in, but I try not put any in after more than a day tho.
I just lock them all down at the same time. The extra day doesn't seem to affect the later eggs. Good luck, happy hatching!
