help !! eggs are taking long to pip

one egg started to pip this mornings at around 8 am its now 1 pm and it has no progress also see not much movement , its cracked the outer shell but the white membrane is still in place its white where as the other egg has a slightly yellow creamy membrane could the membrane be dry ? if so what can i do ?

After pipping my eggs take on average about another 12 hours or so to really start zipping. Now this is just an average i have had some come out in half that time and some twice that much.
Just be patient and let them do what they do!

Its only been 5 hours. Mine take almost 24.

they need time to adjust to our air as well, and absorb their yolk. when you see the first pip hole the egg is still full of yolk!
