So I left my eggs on Friday at school which was Day 17. Yesterday, Day 19, a fellow teacher went to check on them for me. She sent me a pic to show that they were okay, but she had lifted the incubator lid!! In the photo, they had clearly been moving because they were not in the position I had left them in. Today, they have not moved anymore. I am so scared they were okay until the lid opened. Please give me some hope!!

one hatched today! the other ones looked as though the belly didn't forma all the way. I had issue with my incubator and the temp was pretty high a few times and that might have done it I'm not sure. Going to try again after I purchase a new incubator

Failure isn't necessarily from opening the incubator. There can be a dozen reasons why an embryo will fail late.
The only reason not to open the incubator after "lock down" date is that pipping can happen early and you don't want to shrink wrap them at that point.
But a mother hen doesn't control ambient humidity.

Y’all we are popping over here! 4 so far and they are cheeping!

Is 62% humidity good at this point or should I raise it? I have access without opening it...
