Help emergency quail wry neck

Just wanna add my two cents from my experience with a quail that had wry neck. Unflavored Pedialyte being added to their water is a god send. Those extra electrolytes can really be a huge help when they’re struggling. Vitamin E is huge as well. I use poly vi sol without iron in her water mixed with regular water and pedialyte. Took a few weeks to a month but she snapped right out of it one day.

The crowing sucks but it’s just part of having a male roo who can’t breed. It’s probably going to be an issue until this gets better and he can be rejoined with the others. Hopefully things work out for him

His neck is somewhat back in place he just can’t stand do I still do this method

Sorry I haven’t been on here in awhile and just saw this. Hopefully it’s still around. Walgreens didn’t have it in my area of the US.

The way I did it was I would fix about 2 cups of water in total which would last me about 2-3 days depending on how much the bird threw its food into the water. I would do about half of the vial that’s built into the cap of the polyvisol and then probably about a quarter cup of pedialyte mixed with the 2 cups of water. That did the trick for me
