So Jagger has finally passed this very long and hard terd. I dont know if that has had some thing to do with it, but he seems to be getting better. He has started walking around on his own, and is very alert. My biggest concern right now is the diarrhea and lack of eating. I have been giving him kaopectate to help with the diarrhea, and since then the stool has been brownish/red. I thought it was blood at first but doesn't appear to be. Any tips or advice?

Emu can go a.good bit of time with out eating...but getting something in him would of course be best. I use a poultry nutri drench vitamin...it absorbs quickly. Also temp him with dog food...scrambled egg..any treats he may like.... If the Tylan is.helping it may have been pneumonia or some respiratory issue.
