Help! Eye issue?

Hello!
I noticed yesterday afternoon that my Rhode Island Red was a little lethargic and wouldn’t open her left eye. There’s no obvious signs of infection or injury. When she does open it, it’s cloudy so I assumed she’s keeping that 3rd eyelid closed. She’s quite inactive today but is periodically opening that eye. She laid her eye today and ate/drank some. Any ideas/suggestions?

I'm not totally sure and I don't work with chickens as much as I do Geese or Ducks... I'll comment to help boost the post! I hope your chicken will get better soon!

Any other symptoms like decreased eating or drinking, a dirty vent, discolored combs/wattles, decreased laying, puffed up, etc.? Pictures are always helpful.

She is definitely eating less and is way less active than normal. She’s typically quite exuberant and social. She laid this morning and the egg appeared normal. Here are pics I took of her yesterday. She looks the same today.

I am facing the same with 2 young brahmas one with one eye closed and the other has both eyes closed, they’re both 6 months old

I have the same issue. I have a 4 year old hen that has her right eye closed. I picker her up and it doesn't look swollen or scratched. When I pulled the lid down, her eye looked normal. I have no idea what the problem is? Any suggestions?

I’m having the same issues. My girls eye won’t open, but when I do open it, I don’t see anything out of the ordinary

This looks exactly like my girls eye! Posting in case anyone has some insight

Hi, I treated my hen for a respiratory infection and kept her separated for about 5 days and she is all better now.
