She is about a month old and has had this for a while. I've known about it for a while but never was warried because i never got a good look at it. Them mommy han was very protective. We put a warm rag on it to clean it. She has a watery substance in her eye. Her other eye is just fine. She stays with the other chicks and the mom and is eating like a pig and drinking like a camel. Not really sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are some pics of her eye.

Thanks again

I am going to give her some anti's and put her back with her mommy. Ya Know, "Mommy knows best!" IS that alright? What else can i do?

It looks infected. I'd spray some Betadine (safe for eyes, don't use alcohol), and then apply neosporin, or better, a terramycin ointment. The Betadine is important in preventing/suppressing further infection.

THANK YOU!!! Had NOOOOOO idea what to do. Thank you so much I'm going to put it on her eye. Thanks again

Actually...... I don't have any Betadine right now. It is evening and she is under her mommy so I don't want to bother them. Is it alright if I leave it overnight? I don't have any terramycin, but I do have neosporin, is that alright? She is still eating and drinking like a hungry animal. Anything else from others would help too. But thank you Soler, thank you so much.

If it were me, I'd grab it now, clean the eye with a wet cotton ball and slather on some neosporin - the sooner the better. Then I would get the other stuff tomorrow. Hope the chick gets better soon :)

We put some neosporin and this antibodic cream on it. We also found this little scab. We rubbed it with a soaked wash rag and it came off. She is still doing fine eating and drinking wise. She is hopefully going to get better. Do you think it will get better?

Kind of off topic but do you know anything about runts? We have a chick half the size of the chick with the eye problem. They are from the same brood. Should I be worried about the runt? Thanks for all the advice soler. That helps a ton
