HELP!!!! FAST PLEASE!!!!HELP!!!

Well i have it wraped in a wet warm cloth in the inc, ill keep you guys updated on it does, Thankss for the addvise.

Has it cheeped at all? I'm trying to understand the scenario here. You threw away the eggs that had not hatched by day 24, right? How many eggs was that and how did you discover this egg had a live chick in it? Did you check all the eggs? (24 day old eggs)

No cheep from it, I could smell a rotten egg, so i decided to through away the eggs that i thought were eather dead or did not form, but i open them out of curiosity to see if any was forming before they died and thats when i saw this breathing, i dont have a candler.

Oh dear. Well, it sounds like you've gotten some good advice. If the baby chick doesn't make it, there was probably something wrong with it anyway. 24 days is awfully long and it doesn't sound like it was going to hatch on it's own. Best wishes to the sweet little thing.

Keep watching it and keep it warm and moist. If it was meant to hatch, it will start pushing its way out. Do keep a close eye on it, though. If you get to see where there is no more blood, I would help it out. I've had to do this with my last hatch. I just pulled back tiny bits of shell ever few hours until no more blood.

Read the post here with the hatching help post copied into it.

We dont have any candler either, but we have found that a bright 100 watt bulb does a great job! Just hold the egg up to it, and wrap your fingers around the egg so the light can only go thru the egg, and you get a clear view of whats inside! And if it is all dark, and you cant see thru, well that means its full of chick! We almost tossed two recently, untill in desperation we tried that and it worked, we could see them moving and everything!! Very close call!

Good Luck!
