I have four 6 week old Muscovy ducklings. I can get better pics. They’re very friendly and every time I try to get a pic of their legs they turn toward me, ha ha.

I THINK we have 3 females, 1 male.
Please let me know if I need better pics and I will get my kid to hold them :).

Are these all from the same hatch? 2 look older and two look younger?
The first one that is mostly black, looks like a male. The legs are really thick. The chocolate one that has a lot of feather fuzz looks like a male as well with the legs, but those two look to be smaller than the other two? Or are they just hunched down? The reason that I am also asking is because their tale feathers appear shorter - but it might be the angle of the pics?
The black and white pied one looks to be female and the chocolate one standing by the pool looks to be female too.
If they are from the same hatch - there should be some size differences coming up soon. If you can't already see a size difference. Also the males will have legs that look like the big fat pencils compared to the females.
I think if you could get a shot of them all together that might also help to discern their size.
@Nyla might be able to give her opinion as she has far more experience and knowledge than I do regarding muscovies.

I cant tell i just wanted to say you have a beautifull group!

yes, they all hatched at the same time. There is a pretty decent size difference between them. I agree. I’ll try to get a better picture tomorrow. Thank you!

This one is definitely a guy. I mean, I could still be wrong, but look at those thick nubby legs!
Is that the one you thought was male?

They are pretty! I am having the same difficulty with telling if they are boys or girls. I am a first time duck person and have 2 Cayugas, 2 buff orpington, and 1 khaki campbell. Can anyone help? They do not have the curly drake feather yet. They were hatched mid April.
The blond buffs - I am pretty sure the orange bill is a drake and the brownish bill is a girl. The black Cayugas, pretty positive the green tinged one is the boy. The khaki campbell though I am not sure. Her legs were brown, but they are more orange now, which may indicate that she is a he. Any thoughts or confirmation of my guesses?
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!

The other ducks posted are Muscovy, so they have certain characteristics that make it easier to distinguish between the two.
I am not as familiar with the mallard derived breeds that you have. If they are old enough, they can have the drake curl at the base of their tail. Or you would decipher their quacks. Females are louder, males are low and raspy.
If you take them away from the group - what sound do they make? You could start a new thread and maybe post some videos of your ducks quacking - separately of course.
