Help finding a chicken coop sliding door handle.

Does anyone know where I might find one of these handles for a sliding chicken coop door. I tried checking Amazon with no luck. I'm not sure if there's a special name for this handle. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Or if you are the practical type it wouldn't be hard to make one out of wood?

I'd also suggest making one, it doesn't look too hard.

I looked also to no avail. Not sure where you live but if you have a blacksmith in your area they maybe able to make you one. You could also make a similar type pull out of 1 inch flat iron, it would work fine

Thanks, nice to be here. I did buy some 3/8 rod stock from HD, I can probably try to make something. It's more of a pet peeve that I'm unable to locate this online, in an age when you can find just about anything online. I appreciate the responses.

You can make one easily enough and probably for a lot less than purchasing one. Go for it!

I don't know about this model specifically, but have you looked at fence/gate "drop rods" at Lowes or Home Depot? It may do what you want

The secret to a successful search online is what to call it. I get really frustrated with that sometimes. This is just for sympathy, I don't have a clue what to call it.

Yes, I agree. I've tried to word it every which way to no avail. Just annoying that I can't find it anywhere.

I have that same "handle"? on my small prefab that I got from mypetchicken. You might try contacting them to see if you can order the part only.
