Our chickens consist of 2 - Ameraucana hens, 2 - Barred Rock hens and 1 - Barred Rock Rooster (we paid for all pullets but SURPRISE one was not like the others). Then we also have a crap load of guineas. Ok so here is my problem. None of our hens have ever sat on their eggs but I went down this morning to collect eggs after not having done so for a couple days because I was out of town and found one of my Ameraucana hens named Ipo has gone broody. I don't know what to do. I want to let her try and hatch them but I don't know if any are viable and there are probably some guinea eggs in with her too because they all like to share a box. What should I do?

Ok, check and see if she is capable of covering all the eggs in the nest. If not, remove the excess (starting with any Guinea fowl eggs). Protect the nest so that the other hens or Guinea fowl may not add more eggs. Wait three weeks. Good luck for a successful hatch.
