Help for hand feeding: How to hand feed from day one

Great posts!
I have a question....for your first feeding, did you use raw egg yolk or hardboiled yolk? I'm expecting an egg to hatch in about a week, and I want everything prepared ahead of time.

Thanks!

Raw. Put the egg in hot (not enough to cook it) water to get it warm, then put it in the syringe with the other ingredients. For the first feedings remember, about a teaspoon yogurt (plain Greek or just plain), cream of wheat (cooked beforehand), and egg yolk, all heated up to about 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
