Help for my Rescued Girls!

(I may as well be a "new" member since I can't seem to figure out how to post in the correct way so forgive me if this is posted in the incorrect forum.) I live in Tracy California and I'm looking for a kind soul to help me with my girls. We are moving to a ranch where we can't bring our girls. I have 6 hens of various ages (I think) and breeds. They are all healthy, fresh water, proper nutrition, free range and have lived in a big clean coop and house for over a year. I inherited them from the renters that lived at our place before us. The girls were in bad shape and living in squalor and then I took over. They've had the life of Riley since then and it makes me so happy that I was able to better their lives. I want to make sure that they continue to have a good life. BTW they are good layers. Bertha, Peggy, Mary, Blackie, Blondie and Anne. Any advice or help?

Why don't you look in the Where Am I, Where Are You section for people in your area? Or put an ad on CL? Good luck!

As sumi mentioned you can always ask in different sections of BYC! Also you might place an ad using Craig's List. Another site I have found is using Face Book and searching for keywords of poultry, trade, etc for your area. I've been noticing several popping up there for my area. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for both of your responses. I did try Craigs List already with only one response which fizzled out. Maybe I'm being too honest. How can being too honest work against you? But it sometimes does! I will try Where Am I section and see how that works out.
