Yes, there was a normal size yolk and the

rest of the egg was fine. I don’t think it’s an infection because the egg came from my house duck, who is a family pet.

Any animal can become ill or infected.
Just something to keep in mind if you see it again.

Yes, absolutely! I cook with her eggs everyday (I just did) and now I’m on the lookout! Lol.

Finding a funky egg will have you opening them in a separate dish, before adding to pan or recipe, for quite awhile.
