Help! Found Bird! What is it?

Maybe a bird of prey snatched it and then accidentally dropped it. When I was about 4 I was sitting in a little red wagon when a bird of prey dropped his intended lunch onto my lap.

sadly I have to say it did not make it through the night, it died about 11ish. The house is in a sad mood this morning. My son asked if we could get a new one. I keep telling them not to be to sad, we do have 36 other chicks. My DH asked if we could get one next spring when we order packing peanuts (broilers). I think I'm going to be out numbered. I really don't like turkeys, I got chased and nipped in the a** when I was a teen. ok i was wearing a red sweater but it was cold out. Any ways we are all sad to see it go mainly because we will never know for sure what in was.

So sorry to hear that it didn't make it. You should get some turkeys. They are great. If you raise them from poults and interact with them they should be fine. Mine are very nice, some even let you pet them. Bourbon Reds are a nice breed.

I'm sorry

Don't be afraid turkeys - they are a lot of fun. We've raised BBB and whites for 4H for two years. If we had the room I'd love to raise some of the breeding turkeys.
