We lost a Easter Egger for about 2 days.

Then she returned to the coop. She ate and drink the ran off.

I tracked her to the thick weeds and found 10 or more eggs. I did not touch anything.

Because She is setting on the eggs. What should I do?

Wait until it gets dark, collect her and the eggs and put them in a large dog crate. You can also return her to a nest box in your coop, if you are willing to mark the eggs and check them daily to be sure new ones have not been laid in the box she is sitting in.

Or, if you do not want chicks (or, of course, if you don't have a rooster), remove the eggs from the nest and dispose of them appropriately, and return the hen to the run.

I wouldn't. I do not eat eggs that have been sat on for more than around 12 hours. Eggs that have been gotten to by my broodies before I have a chance to collect them are used on trees for target practice.

Queen Misha - do you have a good pitchin' arm?
