HELP GEESE ARE EATING FEATHERS!!!!

I went out goose pen and they are eating any feather they can find!!

Maybe they need some extra protein, that what feathers are. how old and what do you feed and can they forage? sometimes boredom will cause them to do dumb things too.

They are in a pretty big pen, I feed them corn and he is 3.

Your so right corn is like candy, they need to graze on grass and have feed appropriate for water fowl like an all flock or water fowl feed. That is why they are eating feathers.

I do feed whole corn but it's an afternoon snack. When you get time how about posting some pics of your geese we would love to see them
