HELP! Goat got into Chicken Grower/finisher and possibly in labor OR Bloat?

Okay.. Tried to get her to nurse.. She sort've headbutted the teat and nuzzled it but wouldn't latch on.

I'm giving her some milk from a bottle mixed with some more Nutridrench. It's been a little since she's nursed, so she should be hungry..She.. Holds her up with her chin slightly angled up.

Okay, nevermind, that was just her trying to get away from my hand.

Don't feed her if she is sick she may have a gut problem

So according to this she is showing signs of Early Endotoxemia.

So the Antitoxin AND an antibiotic?

The fever needs antibiotics it indicates infection

There is lots of OTC antibiotics at TSC. I have used Tylan 200 on a 2 week kid to treat pneumonia. The antitoxin is just in case she has enterotoxemia you can lose a kid fast and she is having symptoms so better to treat to be on the safe side. I can only order the CD Antitoxin but I have used activated charcoal from the pharmacy when I did not have it. You need to find out if it is safe for a kid that young though. I got the suggestion on the goat spot so you could ask there.

I literally have 5$ left to my name after I spent most of it on the drench. (which was 14 dollars. I do not have a lot of money right now. )

Do you have any other goat friends who may have some antibiotic and CD Antitoxin? Penicillin is not always effective but it has worked for me. The antibiotics are hard on their guts also so you should give probiotics with it.

No, I don't. I could try and put an ad out on Craigslist to see if anyone might help.

I got some Norocillin (Short acting penicillin) they were out of antitoxin. I have to go back tomorrow and pay.

I have no idea how to give this to her or where to give it since it's intramuscular. But I've got everything I need TO give it to her. I'm calling someone I know to see if she can't go to HER tractor supply co and see if they don't have it.

I wish I could see her poop, but she just doesn't wanna do it.

We're going to treat it like it IS endotoxiemia for now. Should I feed her, what should I give her, and without the antitoxin will she make it through the night? How long do I have to get her some?
