I looked seems like I need to give it 1.98 ml 2-3 times a day in breast. But people are all over the scale on oral, inject muscle or under skin.

Can you hear me scream??

Do it orally that's my opinion

Ok well I did the first dose injection cause I know with humans when they super sick they inject in muscle. That's my rationale.

I may try the oral tomorrow but how do I get out of bottle?

Get it out of the bottle the same way. See my previous post on amount and number of times per day.

Don't think it matters. When I give Baytril I give the same amount per day, and it doesn't matter if I give pills, injectable orally, or injectable by injection, the total amount of mg per day is the same.

The vet book I have says that the injectable dose is 10-40 mg/kg 2-3 times a day.
The makers of Tylan say the the powder dose is 132 mg/kg (60 mg/pound) per day.
All veterinary literature warns about giving it by injection since it can cause injection site necrosis.

Ok great.

My husband said he prefers injections. I didn't argue or ask why. My guess is he thinks it will work better.

We have given three injection so far. And there seems to be no change.
