Help had to rescue a chick that hatched and had to open the bator

I used a flashlight when I took pictures. I didn't aim it directly at the keets though - I worried it would hurt their eyes :). See? You're not the only "Newbie Worryer". :).
 
Glad I'm not the only "newbie worrier". :) I took 2 out last night, then 2 this morning, the other 3 still look a bit wet so I thought I would wait until this afternoon evening to take them out. The one that had the shell stuck to him is doing fine although he is really small compared to the others. I thought I'd give him time to recoop. The shell did fall off by this morning. My thinking is that if they are still looking wet then maybe they need more time. No rush I guess. They are all doing very well. I won't feel totally comfortable with the little one until he starts to fluff up some.
