Help! I have a 2 chicks that are hatching 3 days past the other chicks. During zipping and hanging out of the shell the humidity dropped on one of our chicks overnight. He was shrink wrapped so we helped him out. But now his legs don’t seem to work. I read they might not have locked into their sockets because he didn’t push out. Is there anyway to get his legs in place?!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :welcome

There is a way to help with this issue by placing the chick in an tiny narrow coffee cup (prewarm with warm water and dry before putting the chick in) so it will try to climb out and by doing so stemming the legs against the walls of the cup, the legs readjust.

Three times a day for some minutes only, so the chick will not get cold or too stressed out.
