Please private message me so i can send you a picture of my eggs being candled! this is my first time hatching eggs!!! i think today is day 4 in the incubator. I made a homeade incubator to save money so i also need your opinions on how to keep the humidity up, because every morning when i go to flip the eggs the humidity is at 10% i am not having trouble keeping the heat in tho!

Be careful when candling, you are holding those eggs upside down and that's not the best for them. Try holding them the other way with the flashlight on top :) Also it's a bit early to tell, but by day five or six you should be able to see little embryos developing. By day ten you should be able to really see them if they are fertile. Here's a chart showing what they will look like if they are developing: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/candling-pics-progression-through-incubation-of-chicken-eggs

Thanks so much!!! I am new to hatching and Im trying to figure out how to work everything lol! I even made a homeade incubator
