Help hatching quail

:flIf 53% is the highest you can get it, then I wouldn't worry about it too much. Ideally, it should be a little higher, but they'll be fine. Especially after the first couple pop out and the humidity goes up on its own. Make sure you use really warm water when you drop more in.

Sounds like you've got a full incubator...how many are you hatching? Auto turner or did you hand-turn?

Keep us posted. Good luck on your hatch! :fl

the first quail just hatched and I can see a few rolling around!! I am a little nervous is it normal for them to crawl around? I think its only a few min old but it doesn't seem to know how to walk and is not positioning its feet right.

oh and do you think that dial antibacterial soap is strong enough to clean out old chicken chick feeders?

just make sure there is no stuck on food and yes its plenty strong enough. just give the babies some time. by the time they fluff up you will think they are roadrunner instead of quail lol. leave em in the incubator for now. maybe tomorrow night evict all non wet hatchers to the brooder. of course pictures through the observation window are very welcome in the meantime.

Help! I ended up in the hospital and can't get home! I have the food in my car in the hospital l, is there any substation my brother can feed them? We have try cat food but I'm freaking out and won't be home in till Wen afternoon.

Sorry for the bad Grammer I meant dry cat food, could my brother grind it up and give it to them
