Sorry I don't know if this is the right place to post this I can't figure out how to post something anyways I have chicks hatch yesterday one started to zip then stopped and today it's still stuck in the same place Should I help? If so what should I do?

usually if a chick cant get out of its shell it wont be strong enough to survive. However, i've helped chicks in the past and they've survived and died old birds. i usually lightly crack the egg shell, make sure the membrane remains moist. if the membrane dries it makes it very hard for the chick to get out. but leave the chick to try on its own, it can sometimes take as long as 24 hours from start to finish.

I can tell that the membrane is dry and she's chriping like crazy and pushing to get out but can't

i'm not sure the picture has downloaded. i once had a chick who had its membrane completely dry so i bathed it in warm water and slowly peeled back the membrane. i wouldn't suggest it but it did seem to work and it survived despite the high stress levels.

it sounds like the membrane has dried onto her fluff. Its a hard problem to solve, the only thing i can suggest is to leave her and hope or take her out and peel what you can off using warm water and hope the stress doesn't kill it.

Update I got the chick out of the shell she lived and she's a happy healthy chicken
