My 3 ayam cemani eggs have been pipped for 24 hours with no other progress since. Four other types of eggs have hatched and more are pipping since they have pipped (leghorns).

Should I be concerned about the lack of progress on these ayam cemani eggs? My kids opened the incubator at least three times looking at the chicks. Could they be in shrink-wrapped distress?

If it's been that long, this is the article for you.

Short answer: yes they could be, and you can help them if they are, but you have to be verrrry careful.
Thank you so much for that I will maybe P away some of the shell like it mentioned in the article and see if the membrane is dry. I will wait until the last chick that hatched is dry I think because one hatched about 1-2 hours ago (not one of the Ayam cemanis)

Good! That's a very good start. I can't give you better advice than the article but the short list of question is:

What are the unhatched chicks doing? Do you see any eating or chewing motions that could mean they are still absorbing the yolk?

Can you moisten the membrane with a little coconut or other food safe oil? That will soften it. If you still don't see veins, then you can open into the air cell and moisten as much of the membrane as you see there. That may be enough for the chick to finish the job. Just carefully keep going through the steps in the article, checking for blood and checking for unabsorbed yolk. Any sign of either and you put the egg right back in the incubator to finish up. If both are fully absorbed then you can keep going the whole way.

From what I see, those do look dry. Looks like maybe one hit a little vein initially. It's impossible for me to be sure through photos-- you will have to go ahead and use your best judgement. The only hard and fast rule of assisting is STOP IF YOU SEE BLOOD OR YOLK!

Thank you I will try to put a little cooking oil on the membrane And maybe peel some more shell back
