I have a white egg that I can see perfrect development. I have a brown and green egg that all I can of it is at one end. The rest of the egg is so dark nothing shows. It doesnt mater how you turn the egg the "clear" spot stays at that end. This spot is less than 1/4 of the egg I thought I saw somewhere that this is an air sack for the chick and this is where it will peck its way out.

that clear sac at the large end is the air sac and yes they should pip there
how old are yours eggs?
i am currently hatching brown eggs im on day 7 and only just starting to see veins it very hard but i go on the colour of the inside yellow bad, orenge/red good but you can only see after they been in the bator for a week or so if your near the end of the incubating period you wont see much other then a dark shadow over most or all of the egg with a air sac at the end. if it still early on in the incubation give them time and with a very bright light you may see something im on day 7 ill give mine another 4 days and the ones that are still yellow ill bin. good luck

Yes, it's the air sac, and it's supposed to be clear.

My eggs are 15 days. This is the first time for me. I had 8 eggs to start, two were not fertile. I know I have one good one I hope the others are OK also. Thanks for the help Brent
