I have heard many of the hatching experts here say the float test is usually more deadly than helpful. Also, does anyone know if doing ‘the float test’ could be any help as in if they do not float does that mean they still have a chance????
Just wondering, I am about to open one of the eggs up and I’m not sure which end to open up if you knew that would be very helpful thank youI have heard many of the hatching experts here say the float test is usually more deadly than helpful.
You always want to open from the air cell side. This way if you see a surprise chick or duckling move you can still maybe help it still hatch.Just wondering, I am about to open one of the eggs up and I’m not sure which end to open up if you knew that would be very helpful thank you
