Hey guys first time post! One of my hens isn't looking too hot. I've watched her carefully since yesterday when I noticed. Her comb is almost white and she is having runny stools But she is laying, drinking, and eating. I put an electrolyte supplement and a probiotic in the water and no change yet): worried for her! What can I do?

when was the last time you wormed them all? Worms can cause loose bowels.

My go to for anything digestive is to give them oats. Probiotics add to the good bacteria in their guts but are short lived. Oats feed the good bacteria helping them breed and multiply so that you get the best results from your probiotics. I would add a tablespoon size portion of breakfast oats per bird to their morning feed for a week or two. Cannot hurt, is easy to do and if it's a tummy problem it can definatly help.

I would look her over for evidence of mites, which can cause anemia. Get a good wormer, such as Valbazen or Safeguard liquid, and treat her once and again in 7 days. Safeguard can be given 5 days in a row to get difficult worms, such as capillary worms that can cause bleeding. Beef liver in a small portion every day could help build her up. Combs can turn pale for various reasons, especially as they approach a molt. But since she is still laying, that may not be a problem. Vets can check a sample of fresh droppings for specific worms and coccidia.
