Help Help Help!

Runny droppings in chickens can be from drinking lots of water in hot weather. A lot depends on how the chicken is acting. Are they alert and active, foraging and eating/drinking normally? In younger or debilitated birds, they may suffer from coccidiosis or enteritis. Cocci is best treated with Corid (amprollium) in the water for 7 days. Worms do affect chickens, and may not be a big problem, but a large worm load in a run down bird can be serious. Pictures of droppings may help. A vet may be able to do a fecal float to look for parasites. Mine charges $35.

They don't eat as much it's been hotter here lately, they drink a ton, as well as prefering cool crisp things such as grapes and other fruits she's doing much better just must of been an upset tummy or a bad treat. Thx for all of your help everyone

Sounds like the runny poop is from drinking a lot and eating watery fruits. As you mention they don't eat as much during hot weather. I save watery treats for the afternoon when it's hot, this way I know they have eaten their normal food for the coolest parts of the day.

Hope all continues to go well for you.
