Glad he's doing better. In the end, what do you think caused it and what do you think the resolution was? I'm just trying to make notes for the future.

I think the olive oil really helped!! That is when he seemed to perk up from what Kelly tells me.
Ill get her on here later to see what she thinks.

Im not sure what it was, his crop was full...either the grain with not enough grit or bolting the grain or eating the grit, and he looked like he was choking, and sticking his tongue out and hardly breathing. He was fine and then later, just fell off his roost and was gasping.

So Im going to say....make sure they dont spill the grit when you offer grain.

Dont offer too much grain and make them work for it so they cant get it all down at once. Seems that now I notice that they will eat as much as I put out, so I limit my grain tossing habits now.

Keep an eye on them and make sure they are not eating the grit. I think mine were spilling it as it was all under their shavings, but Im going to watch them!
