HELP HELP!!! I clipped her wing too far!!

I have an EE hen and she is bleeding A lot because I accidentally clipped her wing to far what do I do will she live? She's acting fine hopefully I'm overreacting but here she is

Hey, didn't you just post one about something "oily"? This is the picture in that other post, is it the same bird? Same problem? Now I'm confused ....

For this clipped wing too short, try cornstarch unless you have Kwik Stop/Styptic Powder, compress. If you can't stop the bleeding, take to a Vet to cauterize it? See what others with more experience say. There's a thread about how to & where to clip wings.

Thanks so much the bleeding stopped and she's ok yes I did post another thread but that was a different chicken her sister actually my flock is hurt that makes me so very sad but hopefully they will both heal up and be ok soon!

If you cut a blood feather, then pulling it out will stop the blood flow. But if you are cutting feathers, look at each feather before cutting to see if it is full of blood, ie still growing in.
