Please help. 20 days ago I bought 12 eggs off a friend (they were not shipped) and put 6 under the broody and 6 in the bator. 2 eggs quit for the broody and one was taken by a crow. Nothing bad has happened with my eggs in the incubator. I put them into lockdown last night and raised the humidity to 70 - 75%. When candling last night I saw one internally pipped from the bator and one internally pipped under the hen. I went to check on the hen this morning and my ISA white was on her nest while broody was eating. That happens a lot since she is brooding in a nesting box. Anyway, I checked under her and one egg was crushed down the egg! It wasn't the one that had internally pipped either! Most of the inner membrane is intact except somewhere blood and yolk had leaked on the hay. It looks pretty bad, so I was going to throw it away. Then it moved in my hand. I rushed it inside and put it in the incubator. Humidity: 71% Broody: Back on the nest. Egg: no longer bleeding but in a pretty bad state. What can I do for this little one? Is it going to die?
