this happened with three of my rooster they are completely fine and then the next thing I know they're collapsing and dead. it could be marek's disease and it's very contagious she could die in about 1-10 days so just be careful you can look up good medications.

I had a rooster pass away from what seemed to be mareks this past winter. He was paralyzed for a week then he passed away. It’s so hard losing them!

Magnesium will also relax all her muscles if you have that around the house, sometimes calcium supplements come with magnesium.

Thank you, but she passed. I did the vitamin D the day before because I was concerned she was trying to lay but couldn’t. But I never felt an egg stuck. Ugh so strange

She passed away guys . My other hen is frantically looking for her and yelling something crazy I can’t believe how fast that happened. Is that normal for a chicken to be eating and running around the previous day then suddenly get down and die??? Thanks for all the responses I was a full blown nut this morning

Yes, birds hide how bad they feel. She was off her feed 2 weeks ago, and moving abnormally -- that is sometimes all the warning we bird owners get. So sorry.
