Help hen is breathing hard

I agree with the good overhead ventilation posts. Can you check your hen by cupping her lower belly between her legs for any enlargement, fullness, or tightness? Has she been laying eggs recently, and were they normal eggs with hard shells? Can you hear any rattling or wheezing when you listen to her breathing? Do you see any watery or foamy eyes or nasal drainage? Is she overweight?

Gasping can be a sign of respiratory diseases, but also might be a sign of ascites or water belly, a fluid accumulation inside the abdomen. That can happen with heart failure and some reproductive disorders.

She stopped laying eggs when she started molting and has never started up again, when I pick her up to move her she feels really light like she hasn't been eating in a while. you can her like a gasping noise and sometimes a wheezing but her breath really stinks. and finally she has really watery poop or she is throwing up but it looks really watery. and no she is not over weight.

Chickens respiratory are very sensitive, you're going to have to deal with the "stinky" when the doors are closed. Got a picture of your set up? What do you have on the floor of the coop? Do you have poop boards under the roosts?
2x You chicken could be suffering from the build up of the ammonia in the coop (doors closed). Just cause they're outside during the day, the build up in the coop can & will affect them. Like I've told my kids, if you can't handle don't expect an animal to. Can you get a video of her uploaded to You Tube then linked to here so we can see her breathing? Check her eye/nostrils, are there any discharge?

I thought the smell just came with the chickens and i din't know that. I don't have poop boards ill get a picture in the morning

today I went outside to go check on my hens and to let the free range when I notices my 9 month old hen breathing hard and gasping for air i don't know how long this has been going on but i need held determining what is wrong
I have her inside by the warm fire

Can you feel of her crop - what is that like - hard, soft, squishy, air or fluid filled, spongy or doughy?
Look inside her beak - anything on her tongue or her throat like yellow or white patches?

If you see anything inside the beak, please take some photos.
Poop photos and a few of your pullet would be good too.

While you are examining her, feel the abdomen - between her legs as mentioned previously - is there any bloat/swelling or feeling of fluid there?

Breath that really stinks makes me think she might have respiratory illness, canker and/or sour crop - it's hard to know.
Hopefully you can give us more information along with photos or video (for video upload to youtube then provide us a link).

If you have vet care, that is always best.

i just cam back from out there her abdomen is normal feeling and she has nothing inside her beak or throat and I have to let my phone charge a little bit so I can take some pics. she hasn't ate or drank anything for a couple of hours so she hasn't pooped for a while.

OK What does her crop feel like?

Do you have her inside or is she outside? Still having a hard time breathing?

she is inside a shed under a heat lamp and yes she is having a hard time breathing let me go and check her crop

Good therapeutic care. She doesn't look well though.
I hope your care helps her recover.
Should she succumb, you have two poultry diagnostic labs that can give you definitive answers.
I think the first one is the best choice but that is a guess on my part.
