So I was outside feeding my chickens, when the top hen mated with the a pullet. Something came out that looked like a prolapsed vent. I know hens mating with other hens can mean that they are trying to show dominance, but the hen also hasn't laid eggs for a couple of days. I worry that she might be changing hormones since there is no rooster in the flock. What are more signs that this could be it, and is there any way to break it?

Its okay. Anyway, no, I have not felt for a stuck egg. But my mom literally just found one of her eggs in a woodpile. I will still feel, just in case.
I’m guessing that she is laying, but not in the nest boxes if your mom found an egg in the woodpile. As far as her mounting the pullet, the above posters have covered that. If the pullet appears healthy and the hen isn’t doing any damage, I’d just let them be chickens. Chicken society isn’t always pretty.
