Help!! Hen with foam in eyes & breathing with mouth open!

Looks like the start of a respiratory infection. Mycoplasmosis is the most common. You can provide supportive care if it looks like she's struggling, but most healthy chickens survive just fine (it's like getting a bad cold). She seems to be doing ok in the photos so I wouldn't panic.
Hi there I’ve got an 8 month old rooster with both eyes completely swollen shut and he’s rattling and raspy, breathing thru his mouth. And I’m freaking out too!!! Don’t have any idea what I need to do so I’m definitely following this thread!!

I would guess that she has mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG,) a chronic respiratory disease. The foam in her eyes and swelling of the eyelid or face might be the only symptoms, or she could have rales or sneezing. Tylan 50 injectable given orally 3 times a day (0.25 ml per pound for 5 days) can treat it, as well as Tylosin powder in the water 1 tsp per gallon of water for 5 days can treat symptoms. Here is a good article about it:

So glad you saw her thread. What a useful article. I filed it away in case I need it in the future. Thanks for taking the time and happy Thanksgiving!

Just checked on her and she seems significantly better. There’s no more foam in her eyes and she’s not breathing with her mouth open plus the swelling is down to little to nothing. I tried to get photos but as before she didn’t want to cooperate.

Have you made your own thread? That would help you a lot. Your case sounds more severe than mine so you might need more help than what’s on this thread. I wish you the best of luck!!

Hey there yes I did make my own post and have read through a ton of others and found a lot of useful info, now just gotta give everybody injections since I now have 3 total with the same thing🤦🏼‍♀️😭😭😭

What are you going to treat them with?
Tylan 50 injection .25 ml once a day, (or can I give it Twice a day in the beginning??)) and am flushing their eyes with saline solution, then applying the Vetricyn eye ointment, and using a suction bulb to help get that mucus out when needed.
