How do you make them lay quick

How old are your hens and what are you feeding them? There are a lot of reasons chickens can stop laying and there is no magic bullet to make them suddenly start again. Make sure they are getting good nutrition, check for lice/mites, deworm them if they aren't on a regular deworming schedule. Make sure they are not stressed in their environment such as from dogs or other predators. Introducing a new rooster to the flock will shake things up for a while so they may not start laying again for a while. Although you would be wise to quarantine him away from your birds for at least a couple of weeks before integrating him into your flock.

How many hens are with this rooster? If less then 10 or 12 some will get to much attention from him. You can try hen saddles/protectors or you can keep the rooster separate for a while and let the hens rest and heal up.
