HELP! Hova bator incubator??

I have used hova's for quite a few years and used them for chickens, game birds and parrots (which happen to be more temperature/humidity sensitive than chickens). Buy a good digital thermometer/hygrometer!!!!!!!!!! Thermometers that come with many are garbage.

I was wondering what you all use for thermometers /hygrometers. Any brands to stay away from? Some that are truly good? Thanks.

That would be fine for a few hatches... now if anyone here get's rich... I reccomend this one:

It has the most even temperatures and is WONDEFUL!!!

I wish I could get one for my own personal use.

I have a dial type 3018 therometer/hygrometer manufactuered by G.O.F mfg. Co in savannah Ga. I have hova-bator incubator. Like Kstaven said, the themometer that came with the incubator was garbage. This dail type 3018 works for me.

I had good luck last summer with my hovabator and auto egg turner. After candling at 1 week to cull the infertile ones, I had a great hatch except for the time I put in cold water AND candled them at the same time. Temp dropped and I had about a15% hatch. The instructions tell you to add warm water, so do it.
