See you have a life and things to do, where do you get one of those???The 1588 is a forced air so the likelihood of hot spots is a lot less, but it’s still possible. Personally I like an automatic turner, I like not being tied to the incubator at certain times every day so I can go see a play or visit friends. But each of us is unique. We all have our preferences.
Here are the turner instructions. Make sure the trays are lined up right and that the slot in the bar that fits over the knob on the turner is not in a bind. I’ve had that bind issue before. Aggravating!

There are different reasons the eggs should be turned, especially early in the incubation. Not turning them “can” cause problems. But there are a lot of things that “can” happen that never do. Odds are you will be fine.

My LG has the fan-the one made for them and under the heating element is about 1-2 degrees warmer than the center and the far corners. I try to keep my eggs in the general area under the heating element if I don't have too many.
