Hi, i have had no luck on trying to get rid of these feet mite! can someone help me get rid of them. Tell m what i can do to get rid of them???? please help me!!!??

If you are talking about scaly leg mites there are lots of different things that people do. I had a hen once that had it severely and I just kept her legs coated with mineral oil and it went away and never returned. Hopefully someone else will pop in and advise you better.

Vet RX or Blue Ribbon RX works really well for them. I think it is Eucalyptus oil based. I've also heard vaseline works well. You want to smother them in an oily substance, but you really need to work it in between all the scales and get it in there as good as you can. Keep treating until they are gone.

We tried a spray from the Vet, but that didn't get rid of the scales, then we rubbed Vaseline into their feet every day for about a month and this has cleared it up. We had these chicken given to us and put them in a separate pen first, that's how we realised how bad their legs and feet were, dry hard scales, poor animals. I believe the mite is very contagious and will get onto all your chickens, if you don't eradicate them by spraying their sleep house and the perches that they sleep on at night.
I hope you will be successful, good luck. Hennie

So all i do i keep them coated with minereal oil or vassaline??? and the just fall off and go away i dont need to scrape them off or anything esle???

Don't scrape them. Just keep vasaline coated on their legs and it will smother the mites and they will fall off and give the scales a chance to heal.

Vicks vapor rubs works well too and for some reason I had some that were so stubborn I had to resort in using WD40 and it worked! Oh yeah, it smells nasty but killed off all the mites in there.

I just used Adams Flea and Tick dip, it is permethrin based. I used it in the full strength application, 4 tbsps per gallon of warm water. I used this method two weeks ago and my roo's feet/legs are just about back to normal. The icky, deformed scales are falling off and the beautiful shiny scales are underneath! Works great! Oh, I've only done it once and I figured since it's so contagious, I dunked my entire flock's legs into it.
