I have never used blu-kote before and thought I'd try it on my rooster, who is getting feather pecked around his neck. As I was putting the lid back on he got antsy and spilled it on my hands, arms, clothes, etc. The clothes are no biggie, but my hands (right one in particular) looks like a blueberry! I know some will stay for weeks, but there has got to be a way to reduce the nice purple intensity that I have got going on!
Any suggestions?!?
We have a safety training session on Tuesday, at which point I will be meeting the president and other higher ups in the company. I'd rather not shake hands with them looking like I just got out of the Willy Wanka Factory.![]()
Best way to keep Blukote off your hands,
is to leave it in the bottle,
on the store shelf.
There are many much better options for treating wounds...plain old neosporin is the first to come to mind.
BTDT. I found that carefully spraying it into a small cup or bottle cap then using a qtip to dip and apply made less of a mess.I had no idea it would spray out of the bottle all weird and get everywhere.
Will look for you new toe thread..was planning on making a post asking how likely her toe was to get infected.
