@casportponyI’ve found a few options online as I can’t give delivery to where I live for a lot of the options posted online. Does anyone know how much I should be giving to a large almost adult size duck? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
I found that you want to keep going with the treatment that worked one week past when symptoms seem resolved. This seems the most sure way not to have a relapse. Thanks for all your help!
The issue isn’t resolved yet. The duck was almost better and I started to try and supplement with brewers yeast but the duck has got a lot worse again. What’s the best method to treat this in your previous experience? I’ve been looking into niacin tablets as suggested.
How much does the duck weigh? Thanks for all your help!

The duck weighs about 1.8 pounds or in grams it would 816grams. Does that help? How much does the duck weigh?
Thanks for all your help. I think this will hopefully solve the issue. The duck had dropped down to a lower level of niacin when the brewers yeast was introduced.View attachment 1779081
See how the container has non-flushing. You don't want that kind. It won't help your duck.
Ducks/ducklings need 55mg of niacin per kg of food. Most eat .2kg a day so for maintenance they need 11mg of niacin a day.
For emergencies you can give up to 100mg a day for a week for any problems with legs and feet.
That helps a lot. One of my vet books says when treating a niacin deficiency to give the bird 50 mg of niacin per kilogram of body weight 3 times a day. For your duck that means ~40 mg 3 times a day, so I think it if had one that weighed what your duck weighs and was showing signs of a niacin deficiency, I would try giving one of those 50 mg tablets 3 times a day.The duck weighs about 1.8 pounds or in grams it would 816grams. Does that help?
