It is the same as a Little Giant. Our TSC sells them. This thread may help you.

thank you this is really helpful!! I did get a hydrometer with a thermostat but it's digital and you're supposed to put one part outside and one part in. I put the outside part in the incubator and my humidity isn't really that different to what the hydrometer says, so i tried the suggestion on the recommended post using mason jars and sponge.

I'm really not very hopeful about this hatch...last time we only got about 30% and this time it was difficult from start to finish...#1 the rooster is very old, #2 some of the eggs were collected on days when it was 30 degrees, #3 we had a powerout!! #4 i've had to mess with it so much to try to get the humidity up that I've taken the lid off many times!!

I'm just hoping I can get this figured out so we can get a second batch to hatch!!

If you have a small dish, you can put a wet sponge on it. The more of a wet surface into the air as a sponge in a dish will help to get the humidity up. Sometimes I mist the eggs too. If the humidity shoots up, just let it be and it will settle out. I have put a paper towel in the bottom of the incubator and through the air holes on the top squirt some water on the paper towel. It doesn't have to be soaking wet, but damp. This will also help get the humidity up. Those are tricky incubators but if you can hatch in one, you can hatch in most anything. Again good luck and have fun... I have chicks hatching now.

Thank you everyone for the help!!! This morning when we woke there were little peepers cheeping to greet us!!! and more eggs have pipped!!!:wee:celebrate

The green eggs are the only ones doing anything at this point...they were from a sapphire gem olive egger and either of 3 roosters...an ayam cemni/ameraucana cross or an american game or a gold laced wyandotte!!

I also have pure gold laced wyandotte eggs in there, some Brahma crosses, and some partridge rock crosses:fl

Interesting...I never thought about different breeds hatching differently. We now have another green egg hatched and a Wyandotte egg has pipped!!
