Three chicks are out 3 eggs have pips and still have 18 eggs to hatch. i was doing great with my humidity bouncing around from 63- 68%. just ran to check on everything and it is up to 80%. is this ok? this is my first hatch so i am scared something will go wrong. i dont want to open the bator from what i have read so what do i do?

Do you have any of the vents open on the bator? That should help lower the humidity a little plus ventilation is good.

Yes both vents are open. i made sure of that when the chicks started coming. i have heard the humidity jumps around when they start hatching but i didnt know if there was such a thing as it getting to high and causing chicks to drown.
