HELP!!! HURT QUAIL!!!

What I *think* @Gray Farms is saying is that game birds (Quail) are not that tame and are more prone to stress than let's say a Chicken. So treating them for injuries and other conditions that require handling/checking wounds, etc. could actually stress them out more and even send them over the edge.
Yeah I get it . But still it deserves a chance . I guess it's just that my quail is more like a pet and If she got injured I'd try and help .

Exactly 👍

Not all things can be fixed. How much pain and/or stress the bird will go through trying to "help" needs always be considered first.
I get it too. I have pets as well, but I am responsible for them. There comes a time when a decision has to be made if you are actually "helping" them or avoiding the heartache of losing them.

I agree. It's tough when it's not planned, especially when its one you're attached to, but most quail really would rather never be held, even if it's to help save them

I know 😔

Thank you everyone for your advice. It has been a tough decision, but I know nothing about fixing broken bones in birds. I have decided to put her down. 😭 I just didn’t want to see her suffer anymore. She was looking even worse today anyway. I wish I could’ve helped her, but I think this was the best decision. I’ve got 10 other quail to take care of also. Again, thank you everyone so much. I appreciate it 😢
