On a side note...SpottedCrow can you try to find a link about the lactose intolerance issue. I am having trouble finding anything and my old nutrition books are useless on the subject. I want to educate myself...thanks.

I think it's fantastic that you're caring for this young girl, new to the world. She's young, and she doesn't know anything except that so far, the world has been very unpredictable and weird. You're wonderful for taking her in. Not to mention, she's a very attractive little pullet.

If you find that you can't keep her, I'm sure that there would be plenty of people on this forum who would want her.

Mayberry Saint, by the way, this "being nice and helpful" act isn't going to help in your quest to get locked at least once a month.

Anyway back to the chicken. lilqhgal, have you made up your mind about keeping her? I think you should...and I think you should get her some friends.

If you want to keep her we can help you with any questions you have.

OH she is sooo pretty!! If you do decide to keep her, you found the right place..

These guys are VERY knowledgeable (and patient

(and I didn't see anyone else mention it, so just in case it still needs saying, nope, don't need a rooster unless you want fertile eggs.. )
