Help - I cracked my egg on lock down!

So far nothing, no pips from either egg. 😕 Still hopeful. They were set at 6:00am on 1/24.
They're on day 21 then, right?
First day of incubation doesn't count

So, still time. Plus if your temps are a little off, it may delay the hatch by a day of two. Fingers crossed they pip soon :fl

Egg update - the one I didn't drop is moving and I can see it internally pipping through the incubator because of how i have it positioned. The other little egg is close enough to the edge of the incubator also that I can see it and it appears to be lifeless and like it didn't fill up the egg in the last few days. Very sad 😔 that I did that. I'll leave it in for another day or 2 after this one hatches just to be a 100% sure. However, I'm gonna have to find a friend for this little hatchling.

I can still detect movement in the one egg that I saw internally pipping yesterday. It has not made an external pip yet. At what point would you intervene?

Are you certain it was internally pipped not shadowing?
Any peeping? Movement inside the air cell?

Generally after they've internally pipped, after 24 hours with no external pip, we would make a safety hole. I only suggest doing this if you are confident it is internally pipped, and that it has been internally pipped longer than 24 hours. And even then, its up to you, you can wait longer if you don't want to intervene.
Have you done this before?

You should always candle first to ensure baby is not in the way. A safety hole needs to be in the air cell, it should be tiny, pin sized. I would use a clean screw, and very gently rotate the tip back and forth until it slowly breaks through. No pressure is needed, do not push, just keep working against the shell until you eventually create a tiny hole in it.
After the safety hole is made, leave it to continue doing its thing and keep that humidity up.

A chick may become slower once the air hole is made, as they will not feel rushed to break the shell. So expect them to take a while to continue.

I'm not a 100% positive it's internally pipped. It could have been shadowing. I'm not a very experienced hatcher. I've only done 2 batches of chickens, a few failed batches of call duck eggs and a couple semi failled geese hatches. If it wasn't an internal pip then the baby is late to hatch. Incubators been at a constant 99.5 on the incubator and the thermometer I have inside. Humidity has been good and is it 75% right now. They've been on lock down since Friday since the gal I got them from said she usually has hatch on day 20. I have never assisted and in all honesty I don't want to unless I have to but I don't want to lose the chick either. I will if i have to but want to be as certain as possible. Thank you for your help and advice.

Just lightly spread water over the crack every day with a paintbrush and try to keep it moist
Sadly that egg officially quit. I only have one left and it's shadowing or internally pipping, I'm not sure. It's slightly overdue so I'm still hopeful but a little nervous. Thank you
