Help! I don’t know the gender.

So sorry, this bird is a cockerel. While it is true that some breeds have hens with huge combs, I have one myself, such a red comb at 6 weeks and even at 13 weeks is clearly an indication of male gender.
Pullets of these breeds will start to develop increased redness and size of comb just before they start laying. This would be earliest 16 to 18 weeks for fast maturing breeds though for most breeds it is around five to six months of age.😊

That boy is also not a Whiting True Green. :) They are red...from reddish mixed with a little white to solid red...and they have a small single comb. It wouldn't be the first time a hatchery sent the wrong kind or gender chick.
